About Me

As you should already know, my name is Jason Nolte. I am currently attending Seattle Pacific University, where I am double majoring in Accounting and Business, with an emphasis in Finance.

On the beach in Kauai, Hawaii    I plan to work for a large accounting firm in audit upon graduation. I got my first taste of accounting at the Snohomish County Federated Health & Safety Network in June 2008 and I loved it. Since then, I've sought out experience that alligns with my career goals. I stay active in the WSCPA and attend all social events that my schedule allows. I am also involved with several different clubs and organizations at SPU. I believe it is very important to improve my professional education and attended the Pegasus Communications conference in November 2009, which focused on “systems thinking and its application in organizational and community settings.”

I love traveling, and try to get out as frequent as possible. Since 2008, I have been to Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Maryland, Oregon, Hawaii, Arizona, South Korea, Canada, the Caymans, Macau, and Hong Kong. I enjoy experiencing other cultures, especially those that are very different in comparison to what I am accustom to. There are a few other trips in the works, and I plan to keep traveling for the years to come.
